Leaked gameplay footage shows a new "On Demand" section sitting alongside the traditional station wheel, letting players pick from the most-requested tracks directly instead of just cycling through fixed stations. Whether it integrates with a real service like Spotify or Apple Music is genuinely unclear — Rockstar hasn't detailed it.

Both official trailers produced real, independently reported Spotify surges: Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" jumped 36,979% after Trailer 1, and The Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together" — Trailer 2's main song — jumped an even larger 182,000% after Trailer 2. Both figures come from real streaming-data reporting, not estimates.

A real, public licensing dispute: Heaven 17's Martyn Ware went public saying Rockstar offered him and his two co-writers $7,500 each ($22,500 combined) to license "Temptation," which he called "pathetic" given GTA V's roughly $8.6 billion in revenue. Rockstar declined to negotiate further and the deal fell through — the song won't be in GTA VI.

Most station names come only from leaked gameplay/menu footage, but V-Rock — the classic-rock station returning from Vice City and GTA V — is the one exception: its updated logo has been spotted on a T-shirt Jason wears in genuine official promotional material, not just a leak.
